Well underway with tomatoes!

Well underway with tomatoes! Every year I collect the tomato seeds, sow them in spring and then look forward to what grows. Always fun to see all the different shapes and sizes. Got to admit though that some of the bigger tomato shapes can be a challenge to use- you can imagine what trying to blanch and peel them is like! More of a creative process . I've included a picture of one of the tomato rows- as you can see they are VERY wild- I have to fossick through the rows to find the tomatoes!

It's a great time of year- nice to see the shelves filling up in the Tinui Food Forest Farm shop! And the Tomato Relish is yum!
