A luscious pair of pears!
A luscious pair of pears! Harvested today in the Tinui Food Forest- it's a bit early yet for pears, but these pears reckon they are ready- just about dropping off into our hands when we got near them.
And plans? Well this lot will be kept for a few days to let them continue ripening- we eat them when they are almost over-ripe.
And when we do start picking the pears- big plans for pear and ginger jam- the lot I made last year just about flew off the shelves in the Food Forest shop. Can't wait!
