Made on site in the Tinui Food Forest commercial kitchen in small batches using our own Elderberries grown organically here in the Tinui Food Forest.
The variety of elderberries used in the syrup is the Canadian Elderberry (Sambucus canadensis). The berries of this plant are renowned for their immune-boosting antioxidant-rich, and antiviral properties. The berries are widely used to soothe cold and flu symptoms.
Carefully prepared to highlight the rich flavour of the elderberries, the elderberries are cooked using a steam juicer which condenses the flavour.
Only elderberries are used in the mix, along with sugar added as a preservative and sweetener. No artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives are added.
There is over 307grams of elderberries used per 250ml jar.
Enjoy by the spoonful, stirred into warm water or herbal tea, drizzled over yoghurt or porridge, or incorporated into your favourite recipes.

Best before 1 year from manufacturing date.
Once opened, store in the refrigerator and use within 6 weeks.
