Blackberry time!
Out I go every evening to collect the ripe blackberries. I then wash them and freeze them- ready for my planned Blackberry and Apple Syrup. I havent made it yet- still waiting for the apples to ripen- sounds yummy though eh?
The blackberry vines are (thankfully) the thornless variety- I'm not keen on prickly plants! They do well with very little care- which makes them a great addition to the Food Forest!
What is hard to do is to remember not to eat them all when I'm picking!
